How it works
A reed switch fitted inside the unit and a magnet in a separate keep complete the kit.
— The alarm unit surface fits to the door with the keep fitted to the frame adjacent to it.
— The alarm sounds when the door is opened.

Features
○ Fitting: Surface fits horizontally onto the door on a 2mm steel backplate.
○ Handing: Units are handed based on the hinge side of the door as viewed from the inside (see below):
    - RH unit for door hinged on the right.
    - LH unit for door hinged on the left.
○ Alarmed: Incorporates 105dB alarm (powered by 1 x PP3 battery - 12 months life expectancy on normal usage). The alarm sounds immediately the door is opened and can only be silenced by the keyholder using the on/off keyswitch. The alarm can be turned off when not required.
○ Heavy duty: Die-cast aluminum body.
○ Secure: All fixings are concealed when door is closed.

The unit fits over the vertical bolt of a set of panic bolts.
— The alarm is activated by a microswitch when the vertical bolt moves, and the door opens.
