Dorgard fire door retainers are a simple, effective and economical way of holding fire doors open and releasing them on activation of the fire alarm. Quick & easy to fit with no expensive wiring. Comprehensive fitting kit, comprising: floor plate, batteries, adjustment screwdriver, all fixings and full fitting/operating instructions.

How Dorgard Works:

It works by 'listening' for a fire alarm sound (minimum sound level of 65dB). When the fire alarm sounds, a sound sensitive switch retracts the plunger and allows the door to close immediately.

Cost effective: battery powered (uses 2 x C size batteries, requires no wiring.
Fitting:Quick & simple to fit.
Self tests every 7 days. Indicates when the batteries need replacing and self closes should they become exhausted.
